Blizzard Snowplow’s Anti-Theft System

Last year, the news was abuzz with reports of snowplows getting stolen off of trucks. The poor economy and the large amounts of snowfall probably contributed to the increase in this crime of opportunity. Many manufacturers offer an anti-snowplow theft system, and Blizzard is among them with their SECURITY GUARD system. Made for Blizzard plows, this implementation allows the operator to electronically lock the hydraulic function, making it tough for a potential thief to steal the plow. The system is not a physical lock that can be cut. Blizzard Snowplow’s unique take on snowplow security is an included feature on their plows.
